About Cliff Robbins
Technology leader with 25+ years of experience
My Story
I'm a technology leader with more than 25 years of experience building and scaling enterprise systems across software, hardware, and the AWS cloud. I've led product and engineering organizations of every size, turning roadmaps into shipped outcomes by pairing disciplined execution with a deep understanding of how sales, marketing, technology, and finance intersect.
I've launched four companies from zero to multimillion-dollar businesses by applying that same blend of pragmatism, data-driven decision making, and customer focus. Before tech, I spent eight years in the United States Marine Corps—an experience that forged the ownership mindset, perspective, and growth orientation I bring to every team I lead.
I created the PIT™ (Plan → Implement → Test) method out of necessity—I only have 30-60 minutes to code each morning before my day gets consumed by meetings and management tasks. Traditional development approaches simply wouldn't work within those constraints. When I developed PIT™ inside Cursor, delivery times shrank, confidence rose, and reluctant engineers saw AI as a force multiplier instead of a threat.
The Journey That Led Here
I'm pragmatic at heart, and I have a strong bias for action—period. This methodology didn't come from some grand vision or academic theory. It came from me trying to build apps and desperately figuring out how to get 3-4 hours of code done in 30 minutes every single day.
I spent thousands of hours—days and weeks—slogging through this process. Trial and error. Failed experiments. Wasted time. But I kept pushing because I knew there had to be a better way. The breakthrough wasn't some magical moment; it was grinding through the details, figuring out what actually worked versus what sounded good in theory.
Now here's the thing: I could have kept this to myself. I could have used these techniques to build faster, ship more, and keep the competitive advantage. But I'm a huge advocate for sharing knowledge. I understand that this will change people's lives and make things better—that's my goal overall. The thousands of hours I spent figuring this out? I'm giving it back to you so you don't have to waste that time.
"The future belongs to teams that operationalize AI; I hope this methodology helps you lead that shift."
